It’s going to be a beautiful weekend in Sydney! When on holidays, you’re always going out and trying different places… so this weekend to fight post-holiday syndrome why not gather some friends together and give these brunch places a try!
2 Mitchell St, North Bondi NSW 2026
This is my favourite brunch place! Located in Bondi, open for both lunch and dinner, SHUK offers an incredible array of Israeli-Mediterranean dishes and house-baked bread.
Shakshuka: Capsicum, tomato, onion, spices, eggs, olives & sourdough (make sure you add chorizo!)
Paramount Coffee Project
The Potting Shed
The Grounds of Alexandria, 7A, 2 Huntley St, Alexandria NSW 2015
The Potting Shed is a place to meet, eat, drink, relax and chat your day and night away – where hanging plants, terracotta pots and timber beams meet brass, brick and iron. The menu offers a number of cozy share options for groups, three course substantial meal choices for those wanting to make an evening of it and a fun selection of nibbles for people wanting a light after-work snack with their cocktails or a share jug amongst friends.
Don’t forget to say hello to Kevin Bacon the pig, and Fluffy the macaw!
The Shed Cheese Burger: Ground brisket, onion rings, house sauce, pickles and melted cheese with chips (this dish comes on a shovel!)
67 Albion St, Surry Hills NSW 2010
White Taro offers a range of Western food with a Vietnamese twist, by offering fresh salads with Asia herbs and coffee made to perfection with Pablo and Rustys coffee.
Viet Skewer Chicken on a Black Brioche: Mixed lettuce, papaya, grain & seeds and aioli on house made brioche bun. Served with chips or salad
76 Devonshire St, Surry Hills NSW 2010
Devon Cafe offers an range of incredible Asian fusion dishes and coffee. Keep in mind there is often a line, but it is definitely worth the wait!
Breakfast with the Sakuma’s: Miso grilled king salmon, smoked eel croquette, 63′ egg, radish petit said & kewpie mayonnaise
