Good Food Month!

It’s FriYAY!!!!

It’s the first week back from mid semester break and I’m already starting to dread the next few weeks… I HAVE SO MANY ASSIGNMENTS 😦 and with this beautiful Spring weather.. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a bit of the post-holiday blues.

Well, not to worry, I have something for you to look forward to this weekend! It’s that time of the year again… The Night Noodle Markets are back!!!!! As part of Good Food Month (I love food) Hyde Park will be transformed into an Asian food market with delicious new food offerings, thirst-quenching drinks and an incredible lineup of entertainment under the stars.

Stalls include:

Bao Stop

I would definitely recommend their baos! Their fluffy baos comes in 3 delicious styles:

Fried Chicken Gua Bao – topped with carrot, spring onion and Bao Stop’s signature chill mayo sauce. 

Peking Duck Gua Bao – with crisp cucumer with spring onion and peking sauce. 

and my personal favourite..

Braised Pork Belly Gua Bao – with hoisin sauce, fresh coriander, roasted peanuts, pickled mustard greens, and Taiwanese mayonnaise. 

They also have these amazing Peking Duck Fries!

Gelato Messina

This year there is going to be deep fried icecream!!! A delicious deep fried caramel and coconut gelato with a good splash of passionfruit is made to order! So you’ll be tucking into warm crunchy pastry and the inside will reveal a cold oozy gelato centre.

House of Crabs

Lobster Fries!!!! I’m so excited to try this! These lobster fries come with cheese, bacon, corn & lobster gravy. Yuuuuummmm what’s not to like?

They also have:

Soft shell crab, xo may in a Vietnamese roll 

Southern fried noodle wrapped hotdog with kimchi ketchup

Bag of prawns in black bean sauce

Mon-Tues 5pm-9pm

Wed-Thurs 5pm – 10pm

FriYAY 5pm – 11pm

Sat 4pm – 10pm

Sun 4pm – 9pm

It’s free entry! So why not take a night off and come down and try something new!
